Acquitted suspects in the murder case of Russian investigative journalist Anna Politkovskaya, Dzhabrail Makhmudov (L) and his brother Ibragim Makhmudov (R) walk out of a Moscow court on February 19, 2009. A Russian jury acquitted all the accused in the trial over the murder of Russian journalist Anna Politkovskaya after three months of hearings that failed to shed light on the crime. Politkovskaya was shot dead in the lift of her Moscow apartment building on October 7, 2006 in an apparent contract killing after returning from a shopping trip to a Moscow store.
