The environmental group Greenpeace, Hungarian farmers' organizations and experts held a demonstration today to protest against series of measures that could be adopted about genetically modified organisms (GMOs) in Hungary. Last week, France's food watchdog also concluded that the genetically modified Monsanto maize was safe, contradicting an earlier report that led to a ban on the maize.
