BELGIUM-EU-SUMMIT-ECONOMY-FINANCE
Czech Prime Minister Mirek Topolanek (R) welcomes Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico on March 1, 2009 before an economic summit of European leaders at the EU Council headquarters in Brussels. EU leaders hold today an extraordinary summit, seeking to tackle rising fears over economic protectionism and agree more coordinated action to tackle the deepening recession.
