AUSTRIA-IAEA-GOVERNORS
Japanese ambassador to the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Yukiya Amano (L) speaks with South African governor Abdul Samad Minty (R) on March 2, 2009 in Vienna. At its first meeting since the change of president in the United States, the 35-member board of governors of the IAEA will also discuss who will take over from Mohamed ElBaradei, who steps down as IAEA director general in November. There are currently only two candidates, Amano and Minty.
