AUSTRIA-IAEA-GOVERNORS
The director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Mohamed ElBaradei (C), attends on March 2, 2009 in Vienna the opening of the agency's first meeting since the change of president in the United States. The 35-member board of governors of the IAEA will also discuss who will take over from ElBaradei, who steps down as IAEA director general in November. There are currently only two candidates, Amano and South African governor Abdul Samad Minty.
