ROMANIA-HUNGARY-COMMEMORATION
Romanians of Hungarian descent visit the commemoration monument for the victims of the 1848's revolution at Nyerges pass in the Harghita county, a central region of Transylvania inhabited mostly by hungarian people (280km north from Bucharest) on March 14, 2009. Some 400 romanian-hungarians gathered one day ahead of the celebration of the Magyars day marking 161 years from the 1848 revolution against the Hapsburgs. AFP PHOTO DANIEL MIHAILESCU
