SWITZERLAND-ENERGY
Mohammed Hamed Al Rumhy, Minister of Oil and Gas of the Sultanate of Oman, adresses the audience during the Energy Pact conference on March 16, 2009 in Geneva. The first annual multi-stakeholder conference on global energy issues gathering visionaries and high level participants from governments, industry, United Nations agencies, NGOs, academy and civil society is taking place from March 16 to 17 in Geneva. The Energy Pact Foundation is a Swiss non-profit and non-political foundation placed under the supervision of the Swiss Federal Authorities. Its main goals are to promote the balanced use of different energy sources with the objective of reconciling innovation, economic development and the protection of the environment.
