French actress Catherine Deneuve (L), former president of french TV Canal + Pierre Lescure (R) and French singer Yves Simon arrive at the Saint-Germain-des-Pres church to attend a funeral mass for French composer and singer Alain Bashung on March 20, 2009 in Paris. Bashung, who died on March 14, 2009 at 64 from a lung cancer, spent since 1966, his career singing and composing a poetic pop-chanson repertoire, recording several hits and becoming the most awarded artist in the history of France's Victoires music awards.
