GERMANY-TRIAL-CRIME-RACISMFARRIGHT-FBL-VOIGT
The leader of German neo-Nazi party NPD, Udo Voigt is on his way to his seat at court on March 24, 2009 in Berlin, for his trial charged with inciting racial hatred for pamphlets distributed before the 2006 football World Cup in Germany. Voigt and two associates are accused of printing flyers with photos of German football player Patrick Owomoyela, whose father is Nigerian, with offensive slogans. The NPD distributed the pamphlets in early 2006 showing Owomoyela wearing the white shirt of Germany's national team with the caption, "White. Not just the colour of the jersey!"
