SWITZERLAND-HEALTH-CARE-DEMO
A spare wheel is adorned with a drip bag during a demonstration on March 24, 2009 in Lausanne. Around 1,500 people - mostly private doctors and medical assistants - marched the streets of Lausanne during a one-day strike to protest against a plan to reduce prices in analysis laboratories which they say will render their own internal services obsolete. Dressed in white, the demonstrators carried placards denouncing the federal plan and the man behind it, Swiss health minister Pascal Couchepin.
