Lithuanian Simona Krupeckaite competes in the women's 500m time trial final during the UCI Track World Championships 2009 on March 25, 2009 at the BGZ Arena in Pruszkow. Krupeckaite won the women's 500 metre time trial crown in a new world record time of 33.296sec here at the world track cycling championships. Pendleton finished third behind Australia's Anna Meares.
