In this image obtained from the US Geological Survey (USGS) and the Alaska Volcano Observatory (AVO), shows an ash cloud, viewed while traveling between Kenai and Nikiski as Mount Redoubt in Alalska erupts on March 28, 2009, hurling ash and smoke high into the atmosphere, forcing flight cancellations and prompting new precautions on the ground, authorities said.
