Chawqi Gharbi (L) a Tunisian Pilot of the Tunisian plane that crashed-landed in the sea near the Sicily island in 2005, flanked by Tunisian Captain Mohamed Taieb Basly (R), the President of Tunisian Pilots Association during a press conference on March 31, 2009 in Tunis. An Italian court handed down 10-year prison sentences on March 23, 2009 on the pilot and co-pilot of a Tunisian airliner which crashed off Sicily in August 2005, killing 16 people, but Gharbi rejects the sentence from the Italian court arguing he could saved 23 people after the crash.
