Workers at a British-owned adhesives factory Scapa attend a general assembly, on April 8, 2009 in Bellegarde-sur-Valserine, southeastern France. Scapa's workers are holding three British executives and a local manager captive over plans to close the site down. Staff at the plant run by the French branch of British industrial adhesives manufacturer Scapa, took their bosses hostage on April 7, 2009, detaining them overnight, police said.
