FRANCE-NUCLEAR-ENERGY-ENVIRONMENT-PROBE
Yannick Jadot, former campaign director of ecological organisation Greenpeace France, speaks on April 10, 2009 in Paris, during a press conference, few days after a top executive at French state energy giant EDF has been charged on suspicion of spying on Greenpeace. A computer expert is also charged along with Thierry Lorho, the head of private detective firm Kargus Consultant. Greenpeace's anti-nuclear campaigning regularly targets EDF, which runs France's network of 58 electricity-producing nuclear reactors. Jadot and EDF had registered as a civil plaintiff in the case.
