Iraqi Kurdish women pay their respect as coffins pas by during a mass funeral for 187 victims of the 1988 Anfal massacre in Kalar, 150 kms south of Sulaimaniyah in northern Iraq, on April 14, 2009. The coffins contained the remains of victims of the brutal 1988 "Anfal" (Spoils of War) campaign carried out by Saddam Hussein's forces, in which an estimated 182,000 ethnic Kurds are estimated to have died.
