BELGIUM-SOMALIA-PIRACY-SHIPPING
Belgian Interior Minister Guido De Padt (L) and Jaak Raes (C), director-general of the Federal Crisis department are pictured at a press conference in Brussels on the Belgian Pompei dredger of Jan De Nul Group which has been captured by Somali pirates some 600km from the Somali coast, on April 18, 2009. The dredging vessel was on his way to the Seychelles. The ship has 10 crew members, including two Belgians, on board. There had been no communication with the ship since it sent two alarm signals early this morning.
