BRITAIN-SPAIN-ARTS-SCULPTURE
Workmen put the final touches to a new sculputure entitled 'Dream' by Spanish artist Jaume Plensa on the site of the former Sutton manor Colliery near St Helens in north-west England, on April 20, 2009. Titled Dream, the 20 metres high sculpture is intended to become a gateway feature for both Merseyside and Greater Manchester at the heart of the Northwest, and to symbolise the regeneration of the whole region.
