LEBANON-POLITICS-VOTE-CANDIDATES-DYNASTY
TO GO WITH AFP STORY BY RANA MOUSSAOUI A combo picture shows an electoral banner (L) with a portrait of Nadim Gemayel, the 27-year-old son of assassinated Lebanese president-elect Beshir Gemayel (R), hanging on the side of a building in Beirut on April 23, 2009 next to a black and white file picture of his late father, taken on August 26, 1982, a few days before his assasination in a massive bombing at his office in the Lebanese capital's Ashrafiyeh neighbourhood. The young Gemayel is one of several political heirs of slain Lebanese leaders poised to make a strong showing in June's parliamentary election. He is a member of a Maronite Christian family which founded the right-wing Kataeb or Phalange party back in 1936 and has remained at the forefront of Lebanese politics ever since, giving rise to the "Kennedies of Lebanon" nickname.
