Australian miner OZ Minerals said on May 5, 2009 managing director Andrew Michelmore will resign to take a position with China's Minmetals, which is in the process of buying many of its assets. OZ Minerals said Michelmore was among five of the company's eight board members who would stand down after Minmetals' 1.21 billion dollar (905 million USD) takeover is completed.
