BRAZIL-ENTERTAINMENT-MISS-CROWNING
Contestant Natalia Bichuete of Tocantins state parades on the catwalk during the official crowning ceremony for 'Miss Brazil 2009' at the Latin America Memorial in Sao Paulo on May 9, 2009. The newly crowned 'Miss Brazil 2009' will be awarded with 200,000 reais (approximatively 100,000 USD) in work contracts, such as a new vehicle, jewelry and clothes. Twenty-seven Brazilian beauties from all states competed for the 2009 beauty pageant for a chance to represent the country in the international Miss Universe competition next August in the Caribbean island of Bahamas.
