TUNISIA-GHIRBA-PILGRIMAGE-JEWISH
Rabbi Frazi Mazouz reads the torah on May 10, 2009, one day before the Jewish annual pilgrimage at the Ghriba synagogue in Djerba. The oldest synagogue in the Africa, Ghriba, located on the island resort of Djerba, was the target of a Al Qaeda's suicide attack that killed 21 people in 2002. About 4,000 pilgrims will gather in Ghriba for the celebration. Tight security surrounded the arrival of the 1000 Israelis to the sacred Jewish site. AFP PHOTO / FETHI BELAID
