MEXICO-FRANCE-CASSEZ-ELIZONDO-MIRANDA-KIDNAP
Isabel Miranda de Wallace, a member of the United Mexicans Against Organized Crime, shows the name of Florence Cassez on a copy of a telephone bill of the house where was Kidnapped Ezequiel Elizondo, during a press conference in Mexico City, on May 14 2009. Elizondo acusses French citizen Florence Cassez of kidnapped and tortured him during his captivity. Cassez (34) was arrested on December 2005 at the home of her Mexican boyfriend alleged gangster Israel Vallarta, where police found several kidnap victims being held for ransom, including an eight-year-old child. She is currently serving a 60-year sentence for her role in a kidnapping gang.The Frenchwoman has already served three years in prison and her father has urged French President Nicolas Sarkozy to petition his Mexican counterpart Felipe Calderon to grant amnesty to his daughter, who denies all knowledge of her ex-partner's activities.
