European Bank for Reconstruction and Development's (EBRD) Chief Economist Erik Berglof speaks to the media during a press briefing at the opening session of the EBRD's annual general meeting in central London, on May 15, 2009. The EBRD is investing billions of euros in central and Eastern Europe to help free the ex-Soviet bloc of deep recession, it announced here on Friday.
