Recent picture of immigrants waiting to get some water from the only working tap at the abandoned former appeals court builiding in central Athens where he lives on May 8, 2009. Hundreds of mainly African migrants have been living in squalor and disease-ridden conditions, without electricity and working toilets in the empty building that once housed the Athens appeals court, just a block away from the National Theatre and one of the capital's main squares. Muslim immigrants clashed again with Greek police on May 22, 2009 during a second day of protests in Athens over charges that officers tore up a Koran during an identity check of immigrants.
