INDIA-WEATHER-CYCLONE-RELIEF
In this handout picture provided by the Indian Ministry of Defence on May 28, 2009, the Indian Air Force load a helicopter with relief materials in Kolkata on May 27, 2009 to be dropped in the cyclone affected Indian state of West Bengal. Sixteen tonnes of relief materials were dropped by the evening of May 27. Bangladesh and India launched major relief operations after Cyclone Aila tore into the northern coast of the Bay of Bengal, killing at least 94 people and leaving hundreds of thousands homeless.
