Italy's Michele Scarponi (Diquigiovanni/ITA) (C) competes to win the 18th stage of 92nd Giro of Italy between Sulmona and Benevento on May 28, 2009. Michele Scarponi of the Serramenti team won the 18th stage of the Tour of Italy on Thursday following a 182km ride from Sulmona to Benevento.
