Indian Prime MInister Manmohan Singh waves to the media as he arrives for the opening session of the fifteenth Lok Sabha in Parliament in New Delhi on June 1, 2009. The first session of the fifteenth Lok Sabha started with the first two days of Parliament kept for newly elected members to take oath followed by election of the Speaker on June 3. Lok Sabha (lower house) will have seven sittings while the Rajya Sabha (Upper house of Parliament) would commence its session from June 4. The President Pratibha Devisingh Patil would address the joint parliamentary session of both Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha on June 4, which would chart out the road map of the second term of the Manmohan Singh Government.
