BRAZIL-FRANCE-AIR-ACCIDENT-FLIGHT 447
Ground crew at Fernando de Noronha Island's airport unload empty body bags from a Brazilian Air Force C-130 aircraft, on June 4, 2009. Brazil is recovering debris from the Air France jetliner that came down in the Atlantic with 228 people on board, as conflicting clues emerged as to the cause of the disaster. Brazilian navy vessels had turned their attention to plucking the debris from the ocean after a fruitless search for bodies from Air France flight AF 447, which came down 1,000 kms off Brazil on June 1 as it was flying from Rio to Paris.
