An anti-terrorist police officer checks for evidence next to a car of the plain-clothes policeman protecting the home of a witness in a terrorism trial who was shot dead in his car in Athens early on June 17, 2009. At least two unknown assailants on a motorbike opened fire with automatic weapons on the 40-year-old policeman who was sitting in his unmarked vehicle outside the home of the witness.
