FRANCE-AUTO-PARTS-COMPANY-CUTS-MICHELIN
Employees of French tyre maker Michelin hold wood crosses on June 19, 2009 in Montceau-les-Mines, eastern France, during an action to protest against the group's plan to cut 477 jobs at the city's plant. Michelin announced on June 17, 2009 it would shed 2.800 jobs through early retirement and voluntary redundancies in the next three years, sparking concern from the government. The banner reads "Michelin, murdere, 477 jobcuts". AFP PHOTO JEFF PACHOUD
