FRANCE-IMMIGRATION-DEMO
An antiglobalization activist from "No Border" group walks, on June 23, 2009 in Calais, northern France, in a camp put up to protest against hundreds of migrants' living conditions in the city and to demand freedom of movement for all. About 2,000 "No Border" activists coming from France, Belgium, Britain, Netherlands or Germany plan to demonstrate on June 27 in Calais. The inscription reads : "We don't care about Europe. We don't want no frontier at all". The constant stream of illegal immigrants arriving in Calais, most of the from Southwest Asia and Africa, has been a source of tension between London and Paris and has stirred anger in the French Channel port itself.
