Iraqi security forces parade in the northern city of Mosul, 370kms from Baghdad on July 01, 2009, a day after US troops officially withdrew from urban areas of the country. Iraqi forces were in control of towns and cities nationwide after the pullout of US troops six years after the invasion, but a bloody car bombing underscored the tough challenge ahead.
