HAITI-PROTEST
Andy Apaid Jr. (C), leader of the Haitian opposition, speaks 14 November 2003 during an anti-government demonstration calling for the resignation of Haitian President Jean Bertrand Aristide, in Port-au-Prince, 14 November 2003. Violent protests have rocked the Caribbean nation since September 23, when Amiot Metayer, a gang leader close to the ruling party, was found dead.
