FRANCE-CONCORDE-AUCTION
French auctioneer Fran?ois Curiel auctions the Radome of Concorde, the nose-cone, for 480, 099 euros during an auction at Christie's, 15 November 2003 in Paris. The radome of Air France Concorde was purchased by an anonymous buyer. Air France, which along with British Airways (BA) was the only airline to fly the supersonic jet, is selling off a selection of Concorde parts and memorabilia in order to raise money for a children's charity that it runs.
