ROMANIA-BEAR-PROTECTION
Baloo, a one-year and four-month-old bear, is comforted by his owner, Molnar Mircea, before being placed in a cage on July 30, 2009 and taken away from him in the village of Pantelimon, outside Bucharest. Baloo was raised and trained for entertainment purposes with three other bears. All the animals were taken away by Romanian authorities and two non-governmental organizations to be later released at the Zarnesti bear sanctuary. Man at right is unidentified.
