This handout photo from Greenpeace released on August 6, 2009 shows Greenpeace and local activists chained to a machine excavator during a protest against forest clearing activity at the palm oil concession operated by the Indonesian comglomerate Sinar Mas in Kapuas Hulu district, West Kalimantan. The protest aimed to protect Indonesian rainforests and peatlands in the heart of Borneo from being destroyed by private companies and took place in palm oil concessions surrounding the Danau Sentarum National park, one of the largest wetlands in the world and the main source of protein for West Kalimantan?s 4.5 million people.
