BULGARIA-FRANCE-SOMALIA-AID-HOSTAGE
Bulgarian minister of Foreign Affairs Rumiana Jeleva welcomes the Bulgarian humanitarian worker from a French charity foundation, Danka Panchova, at Sofia airport on August 19, 2009 after she was freed from a nine-month-long hostage ordeal in Somalia . The 37-year-old Panchova, three other aid workers for Action Contre La Faim (ACF - Action Against Hunger) and two accompanying pilots were kidnapped by Somali gunmen last November.
