Japanese character goods maker Sanrio unvells its -Hello Kitty- 1oz silver coin (R) made by the Australian mint bureau to celebrate the popular cat-s 30th birthday, at the company-s headquarters in Tokyo, 10 June 2004. Japan-s Hello Kitty, a hugely popular cartoon of a mouthless cat, celebrated its 30th anniversary as its creator Sanrio said 10 June it would sell the gold and silver coins to mark the occasion. Of three pure golden coins featuring Hello Kitty as kimono-clad princesses from the traditioal Japanese kabuki play, the most expensive coin costs 126,000 yen (1,100 USD) each.
