FRANCE-MEDIA-RSF-AWARD
Hassan Lambaret, receives on behalf of his brother, Morrocan journalist jailed in his country Ali Lambaret, the Reporters Sans Frontieres (RSF) -Fondation De France award from Director of the Fondation De France Francis Charron (L) and RSF director Pierre Menard 10 December 2003, in Paris. The award, given by the international press watchdog Reporters Sans Frontieres (RSF) and the Fondation de France to journalists who, through their professional work, stance or attitude best demonstrates their commitment to freedom of information, is shared this year between three winners: Moroccan journalist Ali Lambaret, former head of the Haitian radio, Radio Haiti Inter, Michele Montas and to Zimbabwean newspaper The Daily News.
