This picture taken on September 2, 2009 shows a Pakistani man polishing bangles at a workshop in Hyderabad, 160km east of the southern port city of Karachi. In the build-up to the Islamic holiday of Eid al-Fitr, Pakistani artisans work overtime, hunched for hours over fires to churn out bangles in every possible colour, exerting maximum effort for least reward at the bottom of a high-earning industry.
