Ethiopia's Haile Gebreselassie crosses the finish line in front of landmark Brandenburg Gate to win the 36th Berlin marathon on September 20, 2009, where some 60,000 runners from 122 countries participated. World marathon record-holder Haile Gebreselassie won the Berlin marathon for the fourth time in a time of 2 hours 6.07 minutes, but missed out on setting a new world record.
