POR-ELECTIONS-VOTE-LEITE
Manuela Ferreira Leite, leader of the center-right Social Democratic Party (PSD),arrives at a press conference in Lisbon on September 27, 2009, to acknowledge their defeat in general elections. Portuguese Prime Minister Jose Socrates' Socialists won a general election but failed to retain their majority in parliament with which they imposed ambitious reforms over the past four years, exit polls showed.
