IRAQ-US-SADDAM
A US soldier from the 4-42 Field Artillery Division keeps gurad at the main entrance of the farm house from where Iraqi ex-dictator Saddam Hussein was captured by the US forces in Ad Dawr, near his hometown Tikrit, 180 kilometers (110 miles) north of the Iraqi captial Baghdad, 21 December 2003. Saddam was captured on late 13 December 2003 from the same farm where as a young man in 1959 he sought refuge after a botched assassination attempt on Iraq-s then president Abdul Karim Qassim.
