A "Super Hello Kitty Jewel Doll", studded with a 1.027ct diamond on its ribbon, 403 pink sapphires on its body, a citrine for its yellow nose, black spinels for its eyes and a total 1,939 pieces of white topaz for its head on a platinum 900 made body, is displayed at the "Girlish Culture Hello Kitty" exhibition in Tokyo on October 1, 2009. Luxury cyrstal maker Swarovski, Japanese toy firm Sanrio and Japanese jewelery maker I.K. unveiled the 15 million yen (150,000 USD) and 10.5 cm-tall Hello Kitty at the Baselworld watch and jewellery show in Switzerland last month to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the Hello Kitty character.
