Chinese weightlifter Li Ping makes her lift in the snatch event of the women's 53 kg division at the 2009 China National Games, in Jinan, in east China's Shandong province, on October 17, 2009. Chinese women's world champions Li Ping and Wang Mingjuan broke world weightlifting benchmarks in the 53 and 48 kilogramme weight classes at China's National Games, but did not set new world records. These performances will not go down in the world record books because the International Weightlifting Federation only recognises records set in world, continental and Olympic competitions.
