French Patrick Maisonneuve, lawyer of three former Police officials claiming damages, arrives at the Paris courthouse for the trial of the so-called "Clearstream affair" on October 19, 2009. Former French Prime Minister Dominique De Villepin is suspected of having orchestrated a leak in 2004 of a fake list of account holders at the Clearstream bank, which included Sarkozy's name.
