BRITAIN-TRANSPORT-QUEEN MARY 2
The Queen Mary 2 ship berths next to the Liver Building as it arrives in Liverpool, north-west England, on October 20, 2009. The Cunard vessel became the biggest Cruise Liner to enter the River Mersey as it takes its first round Britain trip. The Cunard company was founded in Liverpool in 1940 by Canadian born Samuel Cunard. At the time of her construction in 2003 the Queen Mary 2 was the largest, longest, widest and tallest passenger ship ever built at gross tonnage of 148,528 tons. AFP PHOTO/PAUL ELLIS
