CZECH REPUBLIC OUT
Czech President Vaclav Klaus, former leader of the senior opposition Civic Democrats (ODS), gets ready to cast his vote 12 June 2004, in a polling station in Prague in the country-s first European Parliament elections since joining the EU 01 May. Czech Republic is the first of the 10 new EU members states to vote, electing their 24 MEPs from 31 political parties.
