GYMNASTICS-NED-VANGELDER-DOPING
(FILES) -- A file photo taken on April 5, 2009 shows Gold medalist Yuri Van Gelder of The Netherland posing on the podium of the rings of the Third European Men's Artistic Championships in Assago, near Milan. Van Gelder, the 2005 world rings champion, has been suspended for a year by the Dutch gymastics federation (KNGU) after testing positive for cocaine, it was announced on October 26, 2009. Van Gelder, the reigning European champion on the rings, tested positive during the national championships last June. He admitted taking cocaine and will return the gold medal he won there.
